These pictures were taken the morning my husband and I began our 40 day fast using the “Master Cleanse” a.k.a “The Lemonade Diet.” My husband and I both decided to go on this because we are both tired of the way we look and our health isn’t all that great as well. My weight in this picture is 230 lbs and my husbands is 330 lbs. The details and ingredients for the master cleanse are located below. Each week we’re going to leave you updates as well as photos of our progress. We pray that this will help and encourage others to take their health a little more seriously.
40 Day Master Cleanse
The master cleanse eliminates toxins and congestion in the kidneys and digestive system. Purify your glands and cells throughout your body. Build a healthy blood stream. Dissolve and eliminate fatty tissue so you can melt away about 2 lbs a day.
The sea salt flush removes toxins and plaque build up in your colon.
20 Days – The Master Cleanse “The Lemonade Diet”
5 – 6 Cases of Distilled Water or a couple gallons
Organic Lemon or Lime Juice
Organic Grade B Maple Syrup
Smooth Move Laxative Tea
2 tbsp of Lemon or Lime Juice (1/2 Lemon)
2 tbsp of Organic Grade B Maple Syrup
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
1 Bottle or 10 ounce cup of Distilled Water
Sea Salt Flush
2 tbsp Sea Salt
32 ounces Distilled Water
Step 1 – The evening before you start your cleanse drink a cup of laxative herbal tea.
Step 2 – In the morning (preferably around 5 am) drink the sea salt flush. CAUTION! Make sure you’re near a bathroom because the flush works fast. If you’re feeling gassy be sure to be near a bathroom as well.
Step 3 – Drink 6-12 glasses or bottles of the lemonade daily to promote self control and to ease away hunger. If you feel weak and/or begin to have headaches it’s because your body is ridding itself of the toxins.
On the 20th day after coming off the cleanse skip the sea salt flush.
Breakfast – Oranges or Papayas (Papayas are loaded with digestive enzymes)
Lunch – A cup of smooth soup (nothing chunky)
Dinner – A healthy salad with leafy green lettuce with 2 tbsp of a light dressing of your choice.
20 Days – Vegetable Diet & Flush
100% Juice (No High Fructose Corn Syrup)
For these next 20 days your diet should consist of nothing but fruits and raw vegetables. During this time you should get as much exersize as you possibly can (i.e.: walking, jogging and/or playing with the kids)
Breakfast – Eat fruit
Lunch – Eat raw vegetables
Dinner – Eat a leafy green salad with 2 tbsp of light dressing
